General guidelines for using Performula

We've included a list of common materials for you start out, but feel free to tailor them to your own.

Always tare your scale before adding new materials to your mixture, as Performula counts every part of it individually.

We tried to make the user interface as simple as possible, showing only the information that is needed for the specific task. If you don't find how to do something, just go with the flow, and it will reveal itself for you.

For example you may want to create a category first, and then assign it to an item. But in Performula, you first try to assign the category to the item, search for it, and if it doesn't exist, an option will automatically pop-up to create it with the name you typed in.

An important note is you don't have to be afraid of navigating away when creating/editing an item (for example if you're about to create a new material, or create a dilution for it, or to check the description of them). Your changes are stored on your device.

Just remember to save (which will always be visible if you made changes) once you're happy.

You can also edit an item later if you want to change something on it.
